Demoralization Coal is a common spam tactic used by Frogposters and Discoal troons in an attempt to demoralize Soyteens and discourage them from producing gems, therefore killing soy culture as we know it. The most prevalent form of demoralization dust is to mock and belittle the soy community with a Redditfrog image. While places like 4chan have embraced demoralization culture with constant doomerposting, jakkers have vehemently rejected it, referring to it as coal.

The Frootist administration has been the first one to directly ban "demoralization", with 'teens quickly finding out that the janny team loosely defines demoralization as "anything the jannies don't like" or criticism of Frootist/janny policy, which is alike to 4cuck's Jay Louis Irwin's janny style. Root confirmed that he instructed jannies to delete all "dooming, demoralization, and janny complain threads" from /soy/.[1]
